Iranian short ‘Solar Eclipse’ to vie in France

Iranian short flick ‘Solar Eclipse’ has been selected to compete at the 30th edition of the Cote Court film festival in France.

Co-directed by Raha Amir-Fazli and Alireza Qasemi, the short film’s synopsis reads, “Just a short time before solar eclipse, Saqi’s life goes through changes”.

The cast list of the short flick includes Khorshid Cheraghipour, Paniz Esmaeeli, Anita Baqeri, Faraz Modiri, and Peyman Naeemi.

‘Solar Eclipse’ is a co-production of the Iranian company Sixth Side and French company White Star. Moreover, Manifest Company is responsible for the international distribution of the short film.

The Cote Court festival presents a rich program and provides a unique opportunity to show and share artistic works from various countries.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for June 16-22.
